and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD
your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments
and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which
I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.” “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless
your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst
of you. And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and
will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you
have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you. “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the
voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments
which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high
above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon
you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you,
that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore
choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may
love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may
cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that
you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had
spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass. Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people
Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one
word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant
Moses. My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that
has gone out of My lips. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from
their destructions. I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the
LORD. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on
your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall
direct your paths. My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to
my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the
midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health
to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it
spring the issues of life. Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am
your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold
you with My righteous right hand.’ I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for
My own sake; And I will not remember your sins. Put Me in remembrance;
Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.
Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He
was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are
healed. Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am
ready to perform My word.” For I will restore health to you And heal you of your
wounds,’ says the LORD, ‘ Because they called you an outcast saying:
“ This is Zion; No one seeks her.”’ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because
you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest
for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will
forget your children. Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks
into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him. 8 But with an overflowing flood
He will make an utter end of its place, And darkness will pursue His
enemies. 9 What do you conspire against the LORD? He will make an utter
end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time. "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah
the prophet, saying: “ He Himself took our infirmities And bore our
sicknesses." “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will
be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in
heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning
anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there
in the midst of them.” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say
to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what
was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be
removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything
deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick,
and they will recover.” Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents
and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall
by any means hurt you. Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone
is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill,
and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may
have it more abundantly. And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own
body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the
deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through
unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being
fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead
dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life
to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him
Amen, to the glory of God through us. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according
to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty
in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every
high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing
every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having
become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs
on a tree”), Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the
power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able
to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness
in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that
you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to
stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having
put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with
the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield
of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of
the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun
a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do
for His good pleasure. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to
God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Meditate on These Things
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things
are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue
and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power
and of love and of a sound mind. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper
than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and
spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,
for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in
order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of
ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another,
and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has
great reward. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive
seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged
Him faithful who had promised. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives
to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then
peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality and without hypocrisy. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will
flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse
your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
